Parmvir is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Bachelor's Degree in Behavioural Neuroscience from the University of British Columbia, and a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology at City University of Seattle - Canadian Campus. He has 8 years of experience in the mental health field in the Greater Vancouver community and is very passionate about servicing his clients in this field.

Parmvir has had the honor of working with a very diverse range of clients over the course of his career, including people of all ages and ethnicities. His education has prepared him to handle a variety of mental health conditions, including family conflict, chronic pain, anxiety, and depression. Each client is given the individualized attention they deserve because Parmvir firmly believes that every client has specific needs of their own. His work focuses on applying techniques that have been proven effective, like Cognitive and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Mindfulness.

You can gain a deeper understanding of how your own body and mind function by working with Parmvir. According to him, an essential step in counselling is learning how you behave under stress as well as how you can manage it. You will have the chance to establish your own objectives with him and look into coping mechanisms and ways to avoid emotional and physical suffering.

South Vancouver is where Parmvir was born, and raised, and still feels at home. He speaks English and Punjabi with ease. In addition to his work as a Clinical Counsellor, he considers himself an avid sports fan, PS5 gamer, moviegoer, and Sikh.
