Counseling

Counselling

Counselling gives you the freedom to be in charge of how you approach your main concerns under the direction of a clinical counsellor who offers frameworks and evidence-based coping mechanisms. A counsellor can give you a better understanding of your emotions, thoughts, and behaviours while also empowering you to work at your own pace to solve problems.

Counsellors are qualified to assist you in resolving a variety of problems, including stress from the workplace, anxiety, low mood, grief and loss, anger, substance abuse, chronic pain, problems with your family relationships, and many other problems. Empathy, trust, and empowerment are the cornerstones of the therapeutic space-built environment.

What to Anticipate

Expect a brief phone consultation to introduce yourself, discuss your needs and concerns, and determine whether you are a good fit for counselling. Clients are able to discuss their history and map out their therapy-related goals during the first session. Sessions last for 50 minutes and can be held in person or online. We welcome patients with ICBC or CVAP coverage.
